Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers and finance users to clarify requirements and contribute to technical designs.
- Own features end to end, including low-level design, development, code review, testing, and production deployment.
- Build and operate scalable data pipelines and services on AWS.
- Write maintainable code with automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
- Drive engineering excellence through design reviews, peer code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
- Maintain system availability and reliability through monitoring dashboards, alarms, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
- Develop understanding of financial reporting concepts and Amazon's planning cadence to align solutions with business needs.
- Participate in rotational on-call support for critical systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
