Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Build production-ready generative AI solutions involving retrieval-augmented generation, AI-powered search, prompt orchestration, tool calling, and agent-based workflows.
- Develop agentic solutions and Model Context Protocol integrations connecting AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, and knowledge repositories.
- Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, continuous integration and delivery, production support, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.
Requirements
- Require 4 to 10 years of software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Require experience integrating large language models and generative AI platforms, preferably Azure OpenAI or OpenAI, including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Require experience building AI agents, tool-calling workflows, multi-step orchestration, and Model Context Protocol client, server, or tool integrations.
- Require experience with RAG, agentic AI, MCP, LLMs, vector databases, and Microsoft Azure services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Require knowledge of enterprise security and authentication patterns including OAuth, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens, Security Assertion Markup Language, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, and Okta, plus experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI evaluation frameworks, groundedness and relevance assessment, observability tools, responsible AI controls, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, enterprise knowledge platforms, AI-powered search, or multi-tenant AI applications.
