Responsibilities
- Contribute to feature requirements, documentation, designs, and technical decisions for software development and testing.
- Implement software features and enhancements based on established designs and requirements.
- Develop and execute unit tests, automated tests, and functional test cases.
- Report, analyze, debug, and correct software issues and investigate software anomalies.
- Perform product testing, document results, and follow up on issues found during testing.
- Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases, and user documentation.
- Contribute ideas for improving software development practices, development tools, and test automation.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and develop familiarity with industrial control system concepts applicable to FactoryTalk Optix.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Typically two years of relevant technical experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, or TypeScript is preferred.
- Familiarity with Qt, .NET, React, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, MariaDB, GitHub Actions, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Linux/WSL is preferred.
- Experience in software product development, application and database development, container infrastructure, test automation, design documentation, or use of AI models is preferred.
