Responsibilities
- Manage technology related to chip-card operating systems, with a focus on sovereign identity documents.
- Create and maintain requirements specifications for chip-card operating systems and contribute as a subject-matter co-editor to their development.
- Initiate and coordinate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, technology partners, and system partners.
- Represent the organization in national and international expert committees, conferences, and professional publications.
- Provide technological advice to sales, proposal management, project management, product management, and other business functions.
- Analyze technological developments in chip-card operating systems and cryptography and derive strategic recommendations.
- Help develop and advance innovative security solutions for sovereign documents.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a comparable natural-science or technical discipline.
- Several years of professional experience in system architecture, chip-card operating systems, or comparable security-critical technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and secure identity and chip-card systems.
- Experience working with authorities, industry partners, or standardization committees is advantageous.
- Ability to translate scientific findings into practical and economically viable solutions.
- Strong analytical and structured working style with entrepreneurial thinking.
- Very good German and good English language skills, written and spoken.
