Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and code critical real-time data streaming and inference systems.
- Develop high-throughput data availability and large-scale data processing solutions.
- Turn raw aviation data into actionable insights and support products used by airlines and airports.
- Operate production workloads on Kubernetes and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize infrastructure and systems for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Help plan and communicate technical work while contributing ideas to open-ended engineering problems.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and at least 5 years of experience.
- Intermediate or better knowledge of Rust.
- Experience with Python and Unix-style systems, including basic administration.
- Hands-on experience operating production workloads on Kubernetes.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Ability to work within an agile development style.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS, Terraform, Kafka, Nix, distributed systems, reliability and scaling, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Dagster, Airflow, production ML/AI systems, Iceberg, Spark, Elasticsearch, and hybrid cloud/on-premises Kubernetes experience.
