Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable network automation solutions for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Develop services for automated incident remediation, device upgrades, safe configuration changes, and seamless network capacity expansion.
- Build distributed systems that manage thousands of network devices.
- Work across networking, cloud infrastructure, and service-oriented systems in a collaborative environment.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in the engineering on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in network and software development.
- Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language.
- Experience with Linux, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, EVPN, and VxLAN.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and networking technologies.
- Preferred experience developing network automation, device-management, or service-oriented systems.
- Preferred experience with network modeling and programming using YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF.
- Preferred experience in enterprise, ISP, cloud-provider, or network-support environments.
- Preferred experience with Jira and Git.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud networking, high-performance computing, and GPU systems.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
