Base Salary
$136k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain developer platform capabilities, standardized CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflows.
- Support ephemeral environments, streamlined local development, and automation across build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and infrastructure, including component and end-to-end testing enablement.
- Integrate AI-based tools into the developer experience and automate routine tasks such as testing, debugging, and code quality checks.
- Develop scripts and lightweight tooling for platform capabilities, release management, build management, and engineering workflow automation.
- Identify and resolve developer workflow and platform performance bottlenecks, support productivity metrics collection, and help teams adopt platform tooling.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressively complex software engineering experience.
- Proven experience implementing platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling solutions.
- Experience delivering internal engineering systems from discovery and technical approach definition through rollout and iteration.
- Experience scoping and delegating work to teammates.
- Experience with microservices deployment on Kubernetes across AWS, GCP, or Azure, including deployment strategies such as canary and blue-green.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD, local development and build tooling such as Gradle or Bazel, developer experience tooling, and release/build automation.
