Base Salary

$150k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable software systems and strategic product features across backend and frontend applications.
Participate in the full application lifecycle, including coding, debugging, design reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Build and maintain data pipelines that transform incoming data into Kafka streams and KeyLife Indicators.
Configure and maintain environments, monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve production incidents during on-call rotations.
Lead code reviews, architectural discussions, development standards, technical planning, and mentoring for junior engineers.
Develop reusable code and libraries, improve development tools and test coverage, and modernize legacy applications.
Collaborate with developers, designers, system administrators, customers, vendors, engineering teams, and product teams.
Champion API-first software projects and lead adoption of AI-driven engineering practices across teams.

Typically requires 12–13 years of related software development experience, or 10 years with an advanced degree.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong object-oriented programming skills in Kotlin or Java and proven full-stack development experience.
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js, as well as React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS.
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, and Maven.
Experience with cloud-native application development, production monitoring and support, performance optimization, API best practices, and system troubleshooting.
Experience developing unit tests, UI automation tests, and integration tests.
Ability to lead technical discussions, work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, manage tasks independently, and participate in an on-call rotation.
A master’s degree and experience with SaaS offerings in the technology or financial industries are preferred.
Ability to meet stated physical demands, including lifting 5–10 pounds and performing standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and manual-dexterity activities.
