Responsibilities
- Own and operate cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and regions.
- Design and run production-grade multi-cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
- Lead GitOps-driven infrastructure workflows and operate globally scaled Kubernetes environments.
- Enable infrastructure delivery through CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Design and maintain zero-trust networking and identity models across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Build monitoring, incident response, and operational readiness for a 24/7 production platform.
- Manage hybrid release processes and artifact distribution for restricted environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to improve reliability and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers and define infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and operating cloud or platform infrastructure at scale, including high availability, security, and disaster recovery.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Production Kubernetes experience, including scaling, security, and observability, with GKE, EKS, or AKS.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP and their networking, compute, storage, and identity services.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of cloud networking, identity, zero-trust concepts, and workload identity.
- Ability to automate operational tasks using Python or Go.
- Experience architecting on-premises infrastructure and managing Kubernetes on bare metal.
- Hands-on expertise with hybrid release management and artifact distribution for restricted environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud cost optimization and governance, security posture or compliance tooling, AI/ML infrastructure including GPU workloads, and open-source or community infrastructure contributions.
