Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design experiments and test ideas to optimize internal AI benchmarks.
- Design and improve evaluation frameworks for faster, more rigorous experimentation.
- Train, fine-tune, optimize, evaluate, and test machine learning models.
- Contribute to core product development and expand platform capabilities.
- Set up observability and monitoring to safety-check model behavior in critical environments.
- Set technical direction for experimentation and evaluation work.
- Mentor and unblock engineers and advise on ambiguous technical tradeoffs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality code in challenging projects.
- Experience serving as a senior technical contributor with limited oversight and setting quality standards for others.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Attention to detail and first-principles thinking about real-world deployment of intelligent systems.
- Experience shipping machine learning models to production.
- Previous experience with distributed computing systems in production is preferred.
