Base Salary

$85k - $118k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
  • Identify system enhancements using script tools and analyze and interpret code.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; and install and support systems.
  • Design application solutions based on programming specifications and analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
  • Conduct testing and debugging, resolve application issues, and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risk, maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and escalate, manage, and report control issues.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
  • Intermediate-level experience in an applications-development role.
  • Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
