Base Salary
$85k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify system enhancements using script tools and analyze and interpret code.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; and install and support systems.
- Design application solutions based on programming specifications and analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Conduct testing and debugging, resolve application issues, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess risk, maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and escalate, manage, and report control issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications-development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
