  • Build physics-based models and conduct Monte Carlo analysis, recorded sensor playback, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Analyze tracking robustness under maneuvering targets, clutter, countermeasures, and degraded sensing conditions.
  • Transition tracking algorithms from MATLAB and Python prototypes to production C/C++ optimized for real-time systems.
  • Support requirements decomposition, tracking trade studies, verification and validation planning, and SRR, PDR, and CDR design reviews.
  • Prepare technical documentation and briefings for design reviews and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • An active U.S. Secret security clearance that can be maintained is required.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, applied mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field is required.
  • At least five years of experience designing, implementing, and testing multi-target tracking algorithms for aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems is required.
  • Strong theoretical and practical experience with state estimation, Kalman filters including EKF and UKF, multi-target tracking, and IMM filters is required.
  • Experience developing operational tracking algorithms covering track initiation, maintenance, correlation, and termination is required.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python, including demonstrated transition of algorithms to C++ for production deployment, is required.
