Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, reliable, and scalable integrations with third-party healthcare systems, EHRs, and insurance providers.
- Use LLM technology to automate the reverse-engineering of electronic health records.
- Gather integration requirements, define technical approaches, and prioritize work with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to the architecture, tools, and technical direction of the integration platform.
- Own integration workflows from design and development through deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot integration issues, and improve production reliability.
- Ensure integrations comply with healthcare security and compliance standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote high-quality code standards.
- Drive best practices for integration development, testing, error handling, version control, and continuous integration.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams on monitoring and alerting for production integration reliability and system health.
- Track healthcare technology and integration trends and apply improvements to system performance and capabilities.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- Professional software development industry experience.
- Proficiency with frontend languages including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency with backend languages including Python, Go, or C++.
- Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring and alerting tools.
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions and make successful architectural decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
