Responsibilities

  • Administer and scale GitHub Copilot and Claude Code across the enterprise, including provisioning, policy enforcement, configuration, and usage analytics.
  • Author Copilot skills, custom instructions, agent configurations, and Claude Code hooks to standardize workflows and enforce validation and security practices.
  • Design and provision reliable, compliant AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Develop backend software, internal tooling, automation pipelines, self-service portals, dashboards, and metrics pipelines.
  • Write, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
  • Provide technical guidance and onboarding support to development teams adopting AI coding assistants.
  • Participate in Software Engineering communities of practice and adopt relevant technologies.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Backend development experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience with Terraform and AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and Secrets Manager.
  • Experience administering GitHub Copilot Business or Enterprise, including seat management, policy configuration, content exclusions, and audit logging.
  • Experience authoring Copilot instructions, skills, and agent modes and configuring Claude Code workflows and hooks.
  • Experience integrating Claude Code or the Anthropic API, including prompt engineering, agent workflows, MCP server configuration, and token usage management.
  • Understanding of LLM-based developer tools, context management, RAG patterns, and responsible AI guardrails.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, containerization, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, cloud-native development, application resiliency, security, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
