Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect a unified product engineering strategy emphasizing modularity, reusability, and resiliency
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of products and features across multi-platform clients and Kotlin/JVM backend services
- Define and enforce engineering standards for performance, accessibility, and data privacy
- Modernize systems with agentic AI tools to improve developer productivity and team efficiency
- Build and maintain shared libraries and DSLs for rapid, high-quality deployments
- Provide technical stewardship and mitigate risk in complex technical situations
- Mentor engineers and promote ownership while maintaining clinical-grade quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building robust customer-facing products from front to back
- Strong full-stack development experience using Node and TypeScript, with Kotlin or Java experience as a major plus
- Experience building resilient APIs and working heavily with GraphQL and TypeScript
- Experience developing for web and mobile platforms with attention to performance, accessibility, and privacy
- Proficiency with modern agentic development tools such as Claude Code
- Experience building reusable frameworks, white-label solutions, or multi-tenant architectures
- Background in high-stakes industries such as HealthTech, ConsumerTech, or Conversational AI
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound technical judgment
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Bonus: Kotlin Multiplatform experience
- Bonus: deep knowledge of security best practices and data encryption
- Bonus: experience with FHIR, HL7, or EHR integrations
