Responsibilities
- Code, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems for new and existing product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle to ensure smooth releases.
- Communicate technical requirements to stakeholders and solve technical problems in a scalable way.
- Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and engaging in pair programming.
- Participate in planning by identifying major tasks and estimating work.
- Write comprehensive tests to ensure code functionality.
- Review code to maintain high quality and support knowledge sharing.
- Generate and review documentation on code processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Be available for on-call rotational work to resolve emergencies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with a modern backend language such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
- Proven experience in software development best practices and coding standards.
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective solutions.
- Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
