Responsibilities
- Act as a ServiceNow subject matter expert with responsibility for platform development and operational service delivery.
- Manage the ServiceNow product suite technically, with specific focus on GRC and related risk modules.
- Translate business requirements into complex ServiceNow technical solutions, integrations, and automation.
- Triage and estimate platform enhancements and requests while ensuring alignment with out-of-the-box best practices and strong Health Scan results.
- Provide technical governance, guidance, and approval for proposed changes.
- Prepare for and test ServiceNow platform upgrades and coordinate transitions of future process automations and integrations.
- Identify and implement platform enhancements that deliver cost savings, efficiency improvements, or process simplification.
- Design and develop hands-on solutions for complex and critical ServiceNow requirements.
- Meet audit, IT security, governance, policy, and quality requirements across EMEA and Tokyo Head Office.
- Create and maintain policy, process, procedure, technical reference, training, and user-guide documentation.
- Oversee development and administrative work performed by junior and offshore team members.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to share best practices and develop effective local policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least five years of technical experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow.
- In-depth experience implementing and supporting the ServiceNow IRM module.
- Strong understanding of risk management and ServiceNow best practices.
- Expertise in root-cause analysis and problem-solving for complex IT issues.
- Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in financial or technology environments.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as finance, insurance, or critical infrastructure.
- A degree-level education, ideally in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant and current ServiceNow certifications.
- Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
- DORA experience is desirable.
- Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
