Responsibilities
- Develop software in C++, C, Golang, and Python.
- Architect, design, and develop systems for data security services.
- Provide technical leadership for complex projects and drive solutions across multiple components.
- Apply ML models, advanced data structures, and algorithms to challenging real-time data-processing problems.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for designing, building, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software.
- Develop solutions for deep content inspection and prevention of sensitive or confidential data loss.
- Deliver highly scalable and high-performance software solutions.
- Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across the team.
Requirements
- 12+ years of industry experience building high-performance, scalable, and secure dataplane services.
- Programming mastery of C++ with experience in Golang, Python, and C.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, including multithreading, CPU scheduling, and memory management.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures used in real-time inline data processing.
- Experience with TCP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, and REST services.
- Hands-on experience developing data security solutions.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Experience with debuggers such as gdb and tools such as Valgrind.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying software to GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Drone and Jenkins.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux, Windows, and/or macOS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and ability to drive complex technical initiatives.
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
