Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and modernization of financial technology solutions.
Work alongside application and platform development teams and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
Participate in software engineering practices involving applications, databases, data pipelines, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based platforms.
Perform automation through coding or other automation tools and potentially use or develop generative AI capabilities.
Participate in internship events, professional development activities, networking, mentorship, and a cross-functional project presentation.

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related major at an accredited college or university.
Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
Experience learning programming languages and technology tools such as Java, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic thinking skills.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement.
Interest in financial markets and the financial services industry; coursework or previous internship experience may demonstrate relevant skills.

Ten-week internship located in Chicago, Illinois.
Professional development workshops, leadership Lunch & Learns, mentorship, networking, social events, and ongoing enterprise-wide learning opportunities.
Intern volunteer event and cross-functional project presentation.
Hands-on experience working with application and platform development teams on real financial technology solutions.
