Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and modernization of financial technology solutions.
- Work alongside application and platform development teams and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
- Participate in software engineering practices involving applications, databases, data pipelines, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based platforms.
- Perform automation through coding or other automation tools and potentially use or develop generative AI capabilities.
- Participate in internship events, professional development activities, networking, mentorship, and a cross-functional project presentation.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related major at an accredited college or university.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Experience learning programming languages and technology tools such as Java, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement.
- Interest in financial markets and the financial services industry; coursework or previous internship experience may demonstrate relevant skills.
