Base Salary
$250k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and maintain distributed trading systems and large-scale computing infrastructure.
- Contribute production code to a real-time, high-performance trading platform and related infrastructure.
- Participate in the full development, testing, and release process for software deployed daily.
- Work alongside experienced software engineers and receive ongoing coaching from a dedicated mentor.
- Apply programming and analytical skills to build optimal solutions for complex technical problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency in C++ or Python development on Linux.
- Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with daily software deployments.
- Interest in applying knowledge of hardware, networking, and operating system design to high-performance software.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
- Past software development internship or job experience is helpful but not required.
- Advanced coursework in algorithms, network programming, operating systems, or compilers is helpful but not required.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code in a professional setting is helpful but not required.
- No finance or economics study or work experience is required.
