Base Salary
$165k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Build data-processing pipelines, reconciliation tools, and analytical scripts in Python using Pandas and NumPy.
- Contribute to scalable, resilient, and maintainable system architecture and participate in code reviews.
- Work with MongoDB and MySQL to maintain data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET Core ecosystem for enterprise-grade backend systems.
- Strong professional experience with Python for data analysis, scripting, or backend services.
- Significant financial-services industry experience, including knowledge of trade lifecycles, equities, fixed income, derivatives, and position management.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding software design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: direct IBOR or Portfolio Management System experience, AWS and Docker/ECS experience, and ServiceStack experience.
