Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services, internal platforms, and developer tooling using Python.
- Own and improve the developer journey from code creation through testing and deployment.
- Build and evolve CI/CD systems, testing capabilities, and paved paths.
- Use AI and agentic workflows to improve the software development lifecycle.
- Identify developer-experience friction and turn it into scalable engineering solutions.
- Use data and developer feedback to measure and improve developer productivity and platform effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering teams as internal platform users and enable autonomous problem solving.
Requirements
- Approximately eight years of experience designing and building complex backend software systems.
- Hands-on expertise using agentic AI to improve engineering workflows, establish quality gates and safety nets, and propose AI-native alternatives.
- Strong production software engineering experience with Python.
- Experience building developer platforms, internal developer tooling, developer productivity, or developer experience solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern software development and testing workflows.
- Experience designing platforms and tooling for engineers as internal users.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments and distributed systems.
- A business-oriented, data-driven approach and strong communication skills.
- Minimum C1 English level.
