Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and related full-stack components.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve software quality and architecture.
- Identify problems and patterns proactively and contribute reusable engineering practices to improve team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to validate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Angular or React.js.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
