Responsibilities

Develop and test complex software solutions independently.
Release and validate software.
Provide software support, resolve incidents, and participate in blameless reviews.
Develop reusable code modules and patterns for the team.
Use AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, or Cursor in daily development.
Participate in code and design reviews.
Document and demonstrate software for technical and non-technical audiences.
Assist junior peers with assignments and understanding.
Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, including possible nights and weekends coverage.

Expertise solving problems by developing software with established patterns and practices.
Experience with team languages, frameworks, and platforms such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Angular, or AWS.
Experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
Exposure to developing reusable software modules or patterns.
Experience with integration testing, software releases, and ongoing software support.
Familiarity with Agile software development practices and artifacts.
Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Preferred: three years of professional software engineering or similar experience.
Preferred: cloud development or cloud provider certification, CI/CD support, Agile certification, mentoring experience, and thought leadership in software development practices.
