Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, test, debug, document, and integrate complex information systems.
- Support and enhance primarily .NET-based enterprise applications across corporate business functions.
- Develop APIs and integrations and optimize large-scale SQL data processes and database queries.
- Troubleshoot application, server, infrastructure, performance, and production issues to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence.
- Balance application development, modernization, production support, automation, and new business onboarding efforts.
- Lead project teams or phases of small-to-large efforts and provide guidance and training to less-experienced analysts and programmers.
- Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
- At least 1 year of experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
- At least 3 years of systems and programming experience.
- At least 1 year of expert working knowledge of a programming language used at BCBST.
- Strong full-stack .NET development, analysis, design, coding, troubleshooting, and enterprise application support experience.
- Experience with SQL Server, API development and integrations, cloud-based data environments, server administration/support, large datasets, and query optimization is preferred.
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutions and workflow automation is preferred.
- Ability to lead complex projects, manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical coworkers, and work collaboratively in complex enterprise environments.
