Responsibilities
- Own simulator KPIs including cost, SLOs, throughput, and latency.
- Align technical dependencies for simulator implementation across the company.
- Lead technical discussions and guide technical direction.
- Integrate simulated robot components into the simulation platform.
- Integrate machine-learned graphics subsystems into the simulation platform.
- Implement production-quality software in Python.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience designing and programming software.
- Excellent Python development skills.
- Experience with workflow orchestration systems such as Airflow, Dagster, or Flyte and/or developing data-intensive applications.
- Deep user-level knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Strong systems and data-oriented software engineering design skills, including reusable and extensible code design.
- Understanding of common software performance issues and design tradeoffs.
- Excellent communication and people engagement skills.
- Preferred experience includes autonomous vehicles or robotics, Go or C++, scaling simulations or data-intensive workloads, large-scale machine learning inference in cloud GPU environments, and machine-learned graphics techniques such as NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, or GenAI.
