Base Salary

$175k - $201k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end clinical reporting interface for reviewing cases, finalizing results, and signing off reports.
  • Build results summaries showing case status, measurements, exceptions, and data provenance across Cleerly and third-party applications.
  • Design and implement usable clinical interfaces for complex multi-source data.
  • Implement secure viewer launch flows using deep links, SDK integrations, embedded HTML5 components, and external viewers.
  • Partner with Backend, Viewer, and CoreLab teams to support case gating, edits, final sign-off, and write-back to PACS and EHR systems.
  • Integrate third-party reporting engines and dictation tools as needed.
  • Consume and shape REST APIs, manage pagination and filtering, and maintain audit-safe data handling.
  • Use FHIR and HL7 standards for structured reporting outputs and EHR write-back.
  • Contribute to backend services supporting the reporting platform.
  • Work directly with cardiologists, radiologists, and Core Lab teams to refine clinical workflows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrable frontend depth.
  • Strong React and TypeScript experience owning complex clinical user interfaces.
  • Experience building clinician-facing interfaces in radiology, cardiology, clinical workflow, or similar regulated environments.
  • Backend and API integration skills, including consuming and shaping APIs, handling edge cases, and reasoning about data integrity.
  • Working knowledge of at least one healthcare interoperability standard: FHIR or HL7 v2.
  • Strong testing discipline for edge cases, error states, partial results, and latency in clinical interfaces.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment involving requirements traceability, change impact analysis, and validation support.
  • Direct experience collaborating with clinical stakeholders to define and refine workflows.
  • Preferred familiarity with DICOM-SR, SEG, or Presentation State.
  • Preferred experience embedding or launching medical viewers such as OHIF or Cornerstone using secure messaging protocols.
  • Preferred Java and Spring framework experience.
  • Preferred integration experience with Nuance, M*Modal, or other commercial reporting and dictation tools.
  • Preferred knowledge of DICOM protocols including C-STORE, C-FIND, and DICOMweb.
