Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint activities, test scenario development, in-sprint validation, and release validation.
- Identify, track, verify, and perform root cause analysis on defects.
- Execute load, stress, scalability, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Develop automated API tests for REST, gRPC, and GraphQL services.
- Build or use hardware simulators and emulators for automated regression testing.
- Validate end-to-end behavior across RTLS tags, badges, sensors, exciters, gateways, software, and cloud systems.
- Design and execute hardware-in-the-loop test scenarios.
- Test firmware-to-software communication protocols including BLE, IR, RF, Wi-Fi, and LoRa.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software testing experience.
- Proficiency in test automation using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing and mocking or service virtualization.
- Experience with hardware simulation and emulation tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and root cause analysis skills across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
