Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and drive foundational machine-learning system work at CLEAR.
- Design, build, and deploy machine-learning models for applications such as document and image processing and fraud detection.
- Develop and implement data pipelines covering collection, preprocessing, transformation, and feature engineering at varied scales.
- Partner with product teams and stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems.
- Make architectural decisions and drive continuous improvement in technology and processes.
- Participate in application design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience building, operating, and scaling machine-learning models for consumer applications.
- Experience building end-to-end machine-learning systems.
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling complex data pipelines and evaluating their performance.
- Expertise in feature engineering, model development and deployment, and monitoring.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with and mentor less experienced team members.
- Comfort with ambiguity, curiosity, continuous learning, and autonomous problem-solving.
