Responsibilities
- Build and refine reusable components using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Improve site performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility across high-converting user flows.
- Partner with product, design, and SEO specialists to deploy rapid A/B experiments and optimise funnels.
- Integrate downstream services, forms, and content management systems with platform and customer-technology teams.
- Own complex initiatives end to end while balancing experimentation speed with platform health and reliability.
- Mentor fellow engineers, improve implementation quality, and simplify front-end and back-end solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable UI systems and maintainable architectures with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Solid full-stack web development foundations, including Node.js and familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS.
- Experience with testing practices, component libraries such as Storybook, and web performance optimisation.
- Ability to own work and communicate clearly across engineering, design, product, and growth teams.
- Interest in using customer behaviour, data, and experimentation to guide technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Collaborative approach with an emphasis on mentoring peers, improving code quality, and fostering an inclusive engineering environment.
