Responsibilities
- Partner with Banking, Wealth, Buy-Side, and Research teams to identify high-value AI opportunities.
- Design AI-native workflows and deconstruct existing applications into APIs, MCPs, tools, agents, and other reusable primitives.
- Serve as technical lead for strategic pilots, proofs of concept, and forward-deployed engagements.
- Build agentic workflows using Foundry platforms, APIs, MCPs, evaluation frameworks, and agent infrastructure.
- Design prompt, tool, memory, and workflow architectures and create deterministic, auditable solutions for institutional financial clients.
- Prototype and validate solutions with end users and develop reusable patterns that can become scalable platform capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building applications in finance and strong knowledge of at least one area such as wealth management, investment banking, asset management, buy-side research, or institutional portfolio management.
- At least 1 year of experience building AI-based applications.
- Web development or Python experience plus APIs, MCP implementations, tool-calling architectures, LLMs, prompt engineering, agent architectures, vector search or RAG, evaluation frameworks, workflow orchestration, and cloud-native development.
- At least 10 years of experience building software applications, including solution architecture, production deployment, security and governance, software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with multi-agent systems, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, fine-tuning concepts, agent memory systems, and AI governance frameworks.
- Understanding of financial instruments and concepts such as securities, equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, portfolio analytics, risk analytics, benchmarks, and performance attribution is preferred.
- Ability to create ambiguous zero-to-one solutions and operate across product, engineering, consulting, and financial workflows.
