Base Salary
$144k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate application architecture, technology strategy, and multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Lead hands-on full-stack development and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Serve as a technical partner to architects, application owners, engineers, and product leadership on strategy, prioritization, and execution.
- Lead platform evolution, modernization, technical debt management, enterprise integrations, and architectural initiatives.
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams while mentoring and coaching engineers across levels.
- Integrate AI and GenAI capabilities and use performance data to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish engineering best practices and support healthcare, privacy, security, compliance, cloud networking, and migration requirements.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive experience defining and driving full-stack software engineering, architecture, and delivery for cloud-native platforms and large-scale distributed systems.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in senior, principal, or architect roles building cloud-native applications with AWS, Azure, GCP, GKE, BigQuery, Spanner, Bigtable, or other PaaS technologies.
- At least 5 years of frontend development experience with Angular, React, React TypeScript, or React JS.
- At least 5 years of backend development experience using Python, API Forge, REST APIs, or Java.
- At least 5 years of experience with Scrum-based iterative delivery and Agile concepts such as sprint planning and CI/CD.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience integrating AI or GenAI capabilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 12 or more years of experience, an advanced STEM degree, AI development tool experience, healthcare or regulated-industry platform experience, ML lifecycle exposure, security and privacy architecture knowledge, cloud networking and firewall implementation experience, and application or database migration and modernization experience.
