Base Salary
$162k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Integrate databases and external services while supporting performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment in cloud and local environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Preferred: experience building private cloud workflows.
- Preferred: understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
