Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered application services using Python.
- Build agentic workflows and AI orchestration with LangGraph and LangChain.
- Develop scalable APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines combining LLMs with enterprise knowledge and data sources.
- Develop vector, metadata, graph-based, hybrid, multi-stage, and agent-driven retrieval strategies.
- Architect complex AI workflows involving multiple agents, tools, and data sources.
- Integrate AI services with HR Expert and existing enterprise systems through APIs.
- Develop and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure across relational, document, vector, and graph data stores.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, engineering decisions, and collaboration with architects, developers, and product owners.
- Establish engineering practices for testing, observability, performance, maintainability, and reliability of AI applications.
- Investigate emerging AI technologies and evaluate their practical product value.
- Occasionally contribute to frontend or existing .NET services.
Requirements
- Strong production Python development experience.
- Experience building APIs and backend services, ideally with FastAPI.
- Proven experience building LLM applications using LangChain and/or LangGraph and agentic workflows.
- Experience developing RAG solutions and integrating multiple systems and data sources through REST APIs.
- Knowledge of automated testing, source control, code review, CI/CD, and production-quality software engineering.
- Understanding of generative AI production challenges including retrieval quality, grounding, context management, evaluation, reliability, and performance.
- Valuable experience with complex RAG architectures, hybrid search, reranking, agent-driven retrieval, graph databases, GraphRAG, or ArangoDB.
- Valuable experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, AKS, Azure Functions, vector or semantic search, Docker, Kubernetes, multi-tenant applications, LLM evaluation, and observability.
- Angular, NgRx, or .NET/C# development experience is an additional advantage.
- Ability to take problems from design through production, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and own quality and reliability.
