Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve the Kubernetes-based internal platform, including cluster management, networking, security posture, and day-2 operations.
- Develop self-service capabilities, golden paths, and automation to help internal teams onboard and operate workflows.
- Support reliable production hosting for AI-driven internal workflows at scale.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, and lead postmortems for owned incidents.
- Uphold reliability practices involving SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational runbooks.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, and change and release management.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring coverage.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with global SRE teams on platform strategy and implementation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating large-scale internal infrastructure platforms in a public cloud, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to or interest in infrastructure hosting AI/ML or agentic workflows.
- Experience with observability platforms and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or APM.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across time zones.
- Computer Science degree or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with internal developer platform concepts, AI agent orchestration, vector databases, model routing, inference infrastructure, multi-cloud environments, service mesh, GitOps, Kubernetes or cloud certifications, or enterprise-scale SCM platforms is preferred.
