Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues while improving system scalability.
- Deploy, automate, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve backend infrastructure.
- Maintain continuous integration infrastructure and build, test, and package pipelines.
- Help development teams establish and maintain continuous integration pipelines and tools.
- Review code and work from peers and junior team members and promote best practices.
- Build and maintain production microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Architect highly available and scalable cloud environments.
- Develop and enforce cloud security and compliance best practices.
- Lead automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the cloud engineering team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business objectives.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience deploying SaaS products across major cloud providers, including Azure and GCP.
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more of Python, Java, Go, or Bash.
- Configuration management and infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- Database management experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Redis, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the cloud-native landscape, including Kubernetes orchestration, observability, and SecOps.
- Strong systems skills and a Unix systems administration background.
- Working knowledge of continuous development techniques and pipelines, including Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
