Responsibilities
- Develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities, process requirements, and technical reviews.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, software insulation techniques, and plugins.
- Work with real-time system data, operating environments, system integration, problem analysis, and safety analysis.
- Support software development on a collaborative team using scaled agile principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in software development, maintenance, or support in relevant architecture, operating, real-time, analysis, assurance, tools, safety, or integration environments.
- Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, design patterns, Linux, UNIX, integrated development environments, UML, and driver-based or automated test environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance or other contract-required authorization.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes ClearCase, JIRA, xUnit Framework, JUnit, CPPUnitLite, CMMI Level 5 lifecycle processes and procedures, and assemblers.
