Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize critical development infrastructure for AI product development.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand workflows and eliminate friction points.
- Build and maintain core infrastructure for service mesh, observability, and deployment pipelines.
- Develop cloud-agnostic tooling and manage multi-region deployments.
- Create scalable solutions for user authentication and authorization.
- Contribute to the MCP proxy and maintain official SDKs for connectivity.
- Transform the Claude API into a cloud-native, managed product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building backend product or platform systems.
- Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Ability to take full ownership of work from design through deployment.
- Capability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently.
- A product-focused approach to platform work, emphasizing robust and user-friendly solutions.
