Responsibilities

  • Own the development and refinement of key Dapster robot functionality.
  • Work on foundational technology and products for AI-fueled robotic picking solutions.
  • Develop robotics capabilities involving motion planning, navigation, and computer vision.

Requirements

  • Excellent C/C++ and Python programming skills in a Linux environment.
  • Deep understanding of motion planning and navigation algorithms and libraries such as MoveIt! and nav_stack.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries.
  • BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or robotics with 5+ years of experience, or MS in one of those fields with 3+ years of experience, or commensurate work experience.
  • Strong academic and work record.
  • Prototyping skills are desirable.
  • Familiarity with simulation packages such as IsaacSim is desirable.
  • Experience contributing to the development team for at least one full version of a shipping robot is desirable.
