Responsibilities
- Own the development and refinement of key Dapster robot functionality.
- Work on foundational technology and products for AI-fueled robotic picking solutions.
- Develop robotics capabilities involving motion planning, navigation, and computer vision.
Requirements
- Excellent C/C++ and Python programming skills in a Linux environment.
- Deep understanding of motion planning and navigation algorithms and libraries such as MoveIt! and nav_stack.
- Familiarity with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries.
- BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or robotics with 5+ years of experience, or MS in one of those fields with 3+ years of experience, or commensurate work experience.
- Strong academic and work record.
- Prototyping skills are desirable.
- Familiarity with simulation packages such as IsaacSim is desirable.
- Experience contributing to the development team for at least one full version of a shipping robot is desirable.
