Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs, connectors, and integration layers linking third-party platforms with Riskified’s product suite.
- Introduce AI and agentic solutions into merchant onboarding flows to improve speed, accuracy, and automation.
- Use agentic coding tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve development velocity and code quality.
- Partner with Product, Design, and domain experts to translate risk, dispute, and policy logic into software architecture.
- Deploy high-quality code to production daily while owning service reliability and performance.
- Participate in planning the team roadmap and products.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
- At least 3 years of hands-on server-side coding experience.
- Experience with server-side languages such as TypeScript, Scala, Java, C#, or Kotlin.
- Experience in full-stack development across frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and integration layers with SQL or NoSQL databases and AWS or GCP cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with a recent frontend framework such as React or Vue is advantageous.
- Experience incorporating LLMs or agentic frameworks into customer-facing products is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of risk, fintech, or ecommerce domain workflows.
- Passion for using AI coding assistants and agentic tools in daily development.
- Independent problem-solving, self-learning, proactive execution, and teamwork.
