Base Salary
$163k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable Android applications for Disney+ and Star+ across phones, tablets, TVs, and other devices.
- Lead projects from start to finish and contribute to critical technical areas.
- Support the release process, remote configuration management, and resolution of live production issues.
- Maintain high code quality through unit tests, automated tests, modern libraries, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate career growth and long-term team success.
- Monitor team health and identify leadership and process-improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of production experience with Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with reactive programming and dependency injection.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVI and MVVM or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to write high-quality code, tests, and documentation.
- Experience resolving production issues, ideally at large scale.
- Experience successfully leading a project from start to finish.
- Preferred experience with Dagger 2, Hilt, RxJava2, Groupie, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, streaming video, codecs, DRM, modularized codebases, and Android Profiler.

- Hiring range of $163,100.00-$218,700.00 per year.
