Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reusable automated testing frameworks and comprehensive test suites across frontend, backend, and API layers.
- Lead functional, non-functional, unit, integration, performance, security, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates and reliable release workflows.
- Improve test environments, test data management, parallel execution, test stability, and execution speed.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of production issues while taking technical ownership of production systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to refine acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and ensure software is testable and maintainable.
- Participate in design and code reviews, define engineering standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate globally with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Data, QA, Architecture, and Engineering Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, global standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in QA or software testing, including strong test automation and modern development workflows.
- Experience testing web applications built with React, TypeScript, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with frontend and end-to-end testing frameworks and automated API testing.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile development practices, including story estimation, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams with Jira, GitHub, Miro, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and practices and a solid understanding of performance optimization.
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of secure development practices and compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, GDPR, and SOC2.
- Preferred: experience with performance and security testing tools, global multicultural organizations, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture.
