Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Codesmith, a background coding agent, including workflows, UI, and infrastructure.
- Create debugging tools that surface flaky CI patterns, correlate logs with infrastructure signals, and accelerate root cause analysis.
- Partner with design to ship polished, high-performance analytics and observability product surfaces.
- Prototype AI-powered features such as natural-language interfaces and automated fix generation across prompts, backend services, and UI.
- Contribute to the architecture of sandboxed workspaces and agent-session orchestration.
Requirements
- Strong computer science fundamentals and deep understanding of React and modern frontend development.
- Ability to build polished, high-performance UIs and investigate browser performance, rendering bottlenecks, and complex component architecture.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Willingness to work in person five days per week in New York City.
- Comfort working at an early-stage startup with ambiguity.
- Experience with side hustles or startup projects is a bonus.
- Comfort creating new processes and iterating on them quickly is a bonus.
