Base Salary
$88k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure, data models, APIs, features, and the overall system to resolve customer issues.
- Write well-designed, testable code and ensure systems are efficient, optimized, scalable, and reliable.
- Develop software testing and validation procedures and documentation.
- Maintain internal capabilities, infrastructure, and ML systems that support customers and employees.
- Design simple, elegant systems while considering observability, SLAs, and scalability.
- Own and execute large projects primarily in the backend domain and collaborate with application and front-end engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js.
- Ability to use TypeGraphQL for API endpoints and Apollo/Express as the web server.
- Experience with Postgres hosted on RDS, ClickHouse, React, and AWS infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with experienced engineers and make sound tooling and system-design tradeoffs.
- Ability to use customer problems as input into simple, elegant system designs.
