Responsibilities

  • Support technical product ideas through ideation, discovery, feasibility assessment, and validation.
  • Develop research proposals, technical designs, and experiments for emerging authentication concepts.
  • Design and build proof-of-concepts to validate functionality, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Define conceptual and high-level architectures for authentication products and platforms.
  • Evaluate industry, technology, and regulatory changes and translate them into strategy and roadmap recommendations.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, design trade-offs, and patentable concepts.
  • Partner with Legal and Intellectual Property teams on invention disclosures and patent filings.
  • Advise product and engineering teams during development and delivery and provide architectural guidance for scalable implementations.
  • Help teams address complex technical challenges involving authentication, security, and integration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product architecture, solution architecture, or software engineering.
  • Strong background in authentication, identity, security, or fraud-related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience delivering research-driven initiatives, prototypes, or proof-of-concepts.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to real-world products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of authentication standards, biometrics, multifactor authentication, and risk-based authentication approaches.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
