Base Salary
$137k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems used across Engineering.
- Build reusable pipelines, plugins, and automation for adoption by other teams.
- Investigate failures across build agents, pipelines, and shared tooling and address root causes.
- Improve build and deployment speed while maintaining correctness and safety.
- Partner with product engineering teams to diagnose delivery challenges and implement improvements.
- Use operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and prioritize work.
- Coach teammates and help engineers independently debug build and deployment issues.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful experience in CI/CD, build systems, or release engineering.
- Troubleshoot complex failures across systems not fully owned by the role.
- Demonstrate a track record of independently shipping durable solutions.
- Independently plan and drive large initiatives from problem definition through delivery.
- Comfortably partner with engineers outside the team to diagnose and resolve problems.
- Have excellent written communication skills for documenting systems and decisions.
