Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products.
- Own software design and development through production, incorporating customer feedback and resolving testing and deployment issues.
- Perform unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters and distributed systems using AI tooling.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners.
- Experiment with new technologies to develop innovative, scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products.
- Golang experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and owning microservices operating at scale in distributed systems with thousands of nodes.
- Expert debugging skills and experience solving ambiguous problems in public and private cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with product management and external customer stakeholders on scalable production software.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, software design, and computer science fundamentals.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open-office environment.
