Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, testing strategies, and test cases from business requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver, Appium, or similar tools.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, interface, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, track defects, validate bug fixes, and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage and software quality.
- Improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and QA practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, testing processes, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver, or Appium.
- Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit automation frameworks.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, and web technologies.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing best practices.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.
- ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional, or equivalent testing certifications are advantageous.
