Responsibilities

  • Understand complex application systems to debug business-impacting issues.
  • Utilize incident management processes and tools to generate reports and take corrective actions.
  • Leverage logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and identifying root causes of incidents.
  • Follow best practices to enhance operational efficiencies and system stability.
  • Lead planning and execution of system upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Implement continuous delivery practices to support high-quality software.
  • Use DevOps tools and practices for software deployment and operation.
  • Mentor less-experienced peers through technical knowledge and leadership.
  • Apply the latest technology trends to solve client problems.

Requirements

  • Experience in programming languages such as Java or .Net and scripting languages like Python or Powershell.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github, or Azure pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills.
  • Ability to ensure high-quality and well-tested deliverables.
  • Capability to conduct system performance analysis and implement optimization strategies.
  • High-level understanding of various architectures including microservices and serverless.
  • Comfortable with Agile methodologies and willing to participate in a 24x7 support rotation.
