Technical Architect
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Own solution architecture for Salesforce projects or workstreams, typically involving one or two clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce.
- Define technical designs, contribute to architecture standards, participate in architecture review boards, and resolve technical engagement issues.
- Design REST/SOAP and event-driven integrations using Platform Events, MuleSoft, and Dell Boomi.
- Write and review Apex and LWC code and use a general-purpose language for scripting or lightweight tooling.
- Design data models and transformations using SQL, SOQL, JSON, and XML.
- Act as a technical contact for customer IT teams, translate requirements into solution designs, and support technical discovery workshops.
- Produce solution design documents, data models, and integration diagrams.
- Provide technical input for sales and pre-sales opportunities when needed.
- Mentor Technical Consultants and contribute to technical learning sessions and internal demos.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience, including experience contributing to architecture or technical design in consulting or professional services.
- Solid coding experience with Apex, LWC, and REST/SOAP integrations rather than only declarative configuration.
- Working familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or an equivalent general-purpose programming language.
- Experience delivering Salesforce projects from discovery through go-live; multi-cloud program experience is preferred.
- Ability to discuss integration and data architecture beyond the CRM layer and work directly with customer IT stakeholders.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Agentforce-style coding assistants, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification and progress toward an Application Architect or System Architect certification.
- Exposure to Agentforce, Data Cloud, Field Service Lightning, enterprise integration patterns, iPaaS platforms, regulated industries, or Veeva Systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git and Salesforce CI/CD programs is preferred.
- Background in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Curiosity about LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic is preferred.
